About Sandaru
Hi! I’m Sandaru Fernando, 20 years old, born in Italy from Sri Lanka, and currently in my third year of my Bachelor's of Computer Science at Swinburne University of Technology. I love making English, Science and Maths fun and easy to understand, and enjoy breaking down tricky problems into simple fun steps which is easy to understand, ensuring that everyone has a fun learning environment where everyone feels comfortable and builds up their confidence in various skills.

I like to keep my lessons relaxed and supportive, so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I usually start by checking what they already know, then explain new ideas in simple steps with examples they can relate to. We’ll work through practice questions together, and I’ll always make sure they understand before moving on. My goal is to help students feel more confident every time they leave a lesson.
