About Maryam
Hello,
My name is Maryam and I graduated from Duncraig Senior High school in 2016. Currently, I am studying at Curtin University, completing a Bachelor of Psychology. Subjects I completed in year 12 were Chemistry, Maths Methods, Physics, Human Biology (yr 11), Literature, and Accounting and Finance.
Subjects I have completed at university level are Chemistry, Human Biology and Anatomy, Macroeconomics, Psychology, Globalisation, Health, Neuroscience, and Physiology.
I have been tutoring and marking essays online for a long period of time (around 6 years) and have had numerous students satisfied with my help. In 2017, I tutored 8 students, 5 which come weekly for tuition, with the other 3 coming just for exam periods. They ranged in ages from year 1-12, with all showing improvement. I am able to work with students with a diverse ability and target the areas they need help with. I also help with selective school and G&T (gifted and talented) school entrance. I have tutored students who successfully gained entry into selective school programs with my help. I am very willing to share any tactics and resources that I have used and heard of.

I am flexible and patient in terms of approach, and open to the wishes of the student. I normally try to make sure the student is keeping up with class work, and then try and extend if the student is able to cope.
