About Lauren
I think the focus of tutoring should be the student's needs and goals for themselves. While curriculum is important and must be followed, building confidence in skills and being inspired to learn is more important to me in the long run. Therefore I make effort to make a personal bond with students and make lessons as fun as possible while staying on track.

I love math and physics and think they should be accessible and exciting to all different types of learners! My favourite part of teaching is figuring out each individual students style of learning and allowing them to be excited about subjects they may have had difficulty with in the past.
Lesson plans are flexible and can be discussed with parents and students as appropriate for the level and style of the student.
I can teach math, science, physics, programming, mechanics, shop-related activities, and related STEM classes for elementary or high school level. I also have a background in a range of activities from classical piano to Irish Dance so I love chatting about non-STEM related things too!
