As a Third-Year Finance and Marketing student who attained an A* in A-Level Maths, my approach to tutoring is a blend of systematic teaching and personalised mentorship. I believe in the power of understanding, not just memorising, concepts. My teaching methodology revolves around breaking down complex maths problems into manageable pieces, facilitating active problem-solving, and reinforcing concepts through regular practice.
Each lesson typically lasts 60 to 90 minutes, providing ample time for in-depth exploration of topics and hands-on practice. I adapt the lesson length based on the student's comfort and attention span.
I started tutoring my peers in university, and was delighted to see them excel, many achieving distinctions in Maths Methods. This success spurred me to reach out to more students needing help in Math Methods.
My lessons are best suited for Methods students, whether they're just starting out or aiming to elevate their grades. I am also equipped to help university students who need reinforcement in Maths Methods.
