About Mia
I am a third year (nearly graduate!) honors student at Griffith University studying a Bachelor of Secondary Education. I graduated high school at the top of my English cohort with a high VHA and a true passion for my subject area. (English is the best subject!)
Since I am studying teaching and still a student myself, I understand how to teach English effectively and and what approaches work best for different types of people.

My teaching methodology is largely constructivist - meaning I truly believe that people learn best when they are actively participating through first hand experience! I love creating learning experiences that relate to students real-lives.
I don't necessarily see myself as a teacher. I see myself as more of a facilitator of learning. My students shouldn't be passively learning, they should be active and engaged!
