About Zoe
My name is Zoe, and I am approaching my final year studying Maths at Durham University, on track to graduate with a first class honours.
Having achieved 9s in Maths and Further Maths GCSE, and A*s in Maths and Further Maths A-Level, I have a passion for problem solving, especially discovering and articulating alternative and efficient methods that will make going through questions in an exam context simpler and less stressful.

I believe that the most important aspect of private tutoring, especially in mathematics is to ensure the student is familiar with the processes and efficient methods to get through each exam question to ensure top grades, while also solidifying the general understanding of each topic to build confidence in mathematics as an entire subject.
A lesson will typically be an hour, where beforehand the student shall state the topics they would like for me to go through with them and any practice questions they may wish for support to work through. I will offer an initial free 30 minute meeting where the student and/or parent can discuss where they are academically and what they wish to achieve with me.
When I was in sixth form, I ran an afterschool drop-in session for GCSE students to go through any topics they needed help on.
My tutoring sessions will be best catered for those looking for assistance in Maths and Further Maths GCSE, Maths A-Level, and Further Pure and Further Mechanics from Further Maths A-Level
