About the lesson

Hi I'm Leo!

I graduated from Blackburn High School in 2018 with an ATAR of 94.40. Ever since I have been studying civil engineering at the University of Melbourne and I am currently in the third year of my bachelor's degree, intending to do a masters of engineering starting next year.

Having used tutors throughout my VCE study's, I understand the challenges and pressure faced by students who often are not given the attention and help they require throughout regular schooling. Thus I'm happy to offer my tutoring services in math, physics and philosophy (specific subjects shown on the left hand column).

In terms of teaching style, I like to focus on building skills and strategies to help students score well on exams and sacs. This will be carried out by specifically focusing on a student's weaker areas, helping them build an overall robust toolkit for achieving excellence. Moreover, subject resources such as practice sacs and practice exams can be provided and these can be examined together in order to check and walkthrough solutions. Questions can be forwarded to me 24/7 as part of my tutoring services (both texts and emails are fine) regarding subject content and I'll do my best to get back to you with worked solutions within 24 hours.

I'm happy to do both online and in person tutoring (I'm located in the Blackburn area) and at whatever time suits (as long as they do not clash with my university timetable). I'm open to visiting at common locations such as libraries or to come to households depending on what suits you. I'm more used to teaching one on one classes however I would be happy to discuss other alternatives. Feel free to message me any regarding any questions you may have!
