About Kihida
I have been a Teacher of ICT and Computer Science since 2007 after gaining a PGCE qualification in ICT. I have also achieved a Master's Degree (MSc) in IT Security and an Honours Degree (BSc) in Computer Networks. During my studies, I used and learnt a range of programming languages (e.g. C, C++, Java, Python, etc.). Moreover, I have got some experience in home tutoring as I have been for the past six years a tutor for a range of primary and secondary school students. They have all been successful in achieving good grades in their respective exams. Alongside my professional duties, I am also an external coursework moderator and examiner for OCR, AQA and Edexcel. Thus I have been assessing and moderating for the last four years several GCSE and A-Level exam papers and coursework for these examination boards. Furthermore, I have also been a mentor for a group of underachieving Year 11 students who were failing to achieve the required number of GCSEs. Thus through support and encouragement, they ended up achieving suitable GCSE grades at the end of their studies. With regard to this brief résumé of myself, I think that I have the right amount of experience, qualifications and skills that could be an asset for any student willing to excel in their studies. Alongside my professional duties, faith does play an important role in my life. Thus I will ensure to support any of my students to the best of my skills and abilities in order for them to excel in their studies.
