Alan is a great tutor. He always takes time to make sure I understand the content and communicates well.

Alan has been a very helpful and genuine tutor who is always willing to help out.

Alan was my tutor for first-year university maths this year, mainly linear algebra and calculus. At the beginning I found some of the topics quite difficult, especially because the university course moved very fast. Alan was very patient and explained things in a much easier way, which helped me understand the ideas instead of just memorising formulas. He also knew which parts were important for quizzes and exams and gave me useful practice for common question types. After studying with him, I became much more confident with maths and my results improved a lot compared with the start of the semester. I would definitely recommend Alan to other university students, especially international students who may need more time to understand the course content

I’ve only had one session with Alan, but I was already so impressed! He prepared an entire slideshow with well thought-out, easy to follow information and made sure I understood everything properly before moving on. He explains things really clearly and patiently. Thank you Alan!

Alan is a knowledgeable and approachable tutor who explains concepts clearly and effectively. He is always patient and supportive, making me feel comfortable asking questions and participating in class. His enthusiasm and dedication make the learning experience enjoyable and rewarding.

Alan was my go-to tutor for first-year university linear algebra and calculus this year. He’s a fantastic math tutor who knows exactly how to adapt university-level content to students who might feel overwhelmed by the pace. His lessons were always well-prepared, focused on key concepts and common exam pitfalls, and he explained even the most confusing topics in a straightforward way. With his help, I went from barely passing my first quiz to finishing the semester with a strong grade. I highly recommend Alan to any first-year student looking for a reliable, results-driven tutor.
