I believe in the importance of conceptual understanding followed by practise. Without core understanding it is difficult to apply different areas of knowledge to problem solving. I follow the student as they progress through their curriculum and test and support them to ensure they have a thorough ability to understand questions. I will also help to solve tricky questions in past papers - something I also value very highly.
