About Harman
Hi! I’m Harman, a 3rd-year medical student at Imperial College London. I graduated from QE Barnet School with A* A* A in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and scored 3120 in the UCAT—placing in the top 1% nationwide. I have extensive experience guiding students through A-levels and medical school entrance exams, including UCAT, BMAT, and interviews. My tutoring approach focuses on exam strategies, understanding concepts deeply, and exam practice under timed conditions. I provide structured lessons, personalized study plans, and resources tailored to your strengths and weaknesses. Many of my students see significant improvements in grades and UCAT scores within a few months. I offer flexible online sessions suitable for students in the UK and worldwide. Lessons are conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, or another preferred platform. I will hold in person or online interactive lessons where I will not only provide surface level explanations, but I will also test their application whilst teaching them strategies that would be useful in the UCAT and BMAT exams to optimise their performance. During lessons I will aid them when working out incorrect answers and explain the errors in such a way that the lessons learnt can be used in multiple different questions of the same style whilst guiding the students so that they can have a deep understanding of what they need to know. I can also be very flexible and will let the students dictate the topic of each lesson if that is what they wish for. The development of exam technique is especially important in the UCAT and BMAT exams where timing is the main pressure applied on students, so these techniques will help to maximise the time available to the students.
