About Sorrel
I am a professional Chess tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, having successfully guided over 300 students of all levels—from complete beginners to advanced players. My approach focuses on making Chess both enjoyable and challenging, helping students build strong fundamentals while developing advanced strategies.
I believe that every student can improve with the right guidance, practice, and mindset. My teaching philosophy combines clear communication, patience, and encouragement with structured lessons that focus on openings, tactics, middle-game strategy, endgames, and positional understanding. I emphasize analyzing games, learning from mistakes, and understanding the logic behind each move.
