About Ellie
I am a Translation student about to complete my final year of studies. Having worked in a school and studying the process of learning languages, I am eager to help those around me and share my knowledge of language learning as I feel that, with my research, I am confident in finding ways of learning that work for everyone. I will help students through their learning, I approach this subject with effective cognitive learning and offer tailored ways to improve memory/understanding as I know that everyone learns differently. Stressing the importance of practice with different sorts of engaging activities - I favour collaborative and active learning with consistent drilling to ensure comprehension - 1hr long lessons with different phases based on previous lessons and new learning points with regular assessment to monitor progress. - Experience teaching English as a second language in a school. - Qualifications in education and teaching methodology.
