About Jessie
I am very confident in my ability to create connections with students. As an English literature graduate student, I have numerous years of experience with the English language including history, reading and writing, thesis prep, grammar, phonetics, etcetera. I am 25 years old and able to assist individuals of all ages, specializing in areas ranging from preschool to grade 12. I am an aspiring elementary school teacher and am working towards a teaching degree. I am a nanny to a family of 6 and have plenty experience with children as well.

I’m a very passionate and energetic individual with a passion for English. I strive to find a way to make lessons fun and inclusive for the learner. Engagement and attention is an important part of learning and making that connection is critical for the development of skills. I like to find ways to involve the learner directly and will work with them to understand why what they are doing/learning is important, as well as how to reach their goal one step at a time to ensure they have their best foot forward for future endeavours.
