"My BA in Modern Languages and CELTA sit on my desk alongside stacks of well-worn grammar guides. I often think of language as a bridge built from small, sturdy blocks of vocabulary and syntax.
My 17 years in the classroom have taught me that absolute beginners and IELTS candidates require a very different pace. I enjoy working with business travellers because they need immediate, high-impact results for their careers. Phrasal verbs and idioms are the secret ingredients that make speech sound natural. My persona as a homeschool parent means I value clear, gentle communication above all else.
Every student is different. I find it rewarding to help learners bridge the gap between silent understanding and confident speaking. My resources are built to reinforce each other across all the subjects I teach. It is a simple pleasure to watch a student finally find their voice."
