About Juliette
I have been teaching for 3 years and tutoring for 6. During my time in high school, I was struggling to keep up with the academic demands and intensity. But with the help of a tutor, many of the topics became less frightening and much more interesting.
It is my goal not only to inspire my tutees but to help remove the element of fear and anxiety when it comes to their studies.

My lessons for IB students focus first on ascertaining the difficulties or topics of confusion for the student. From there we move from the easier topics to the harder ones, creating a trajectory of understanding.
By sitting down together, we can create a plan mapping the different topics, the different exercises we will be using for revision (past papers, pop quizzes, discussions). I believe in a holistic approach that is also based in mutual trust. IB can be a very stressful time which is why it is crucial to develop a plan with your tutor and stick to it.
My lessons are usually an hour and a half as we work first for 55 minutes, then taking a ten minute break then using the remainder of the time for summarising, discussing and answering any questions.
