About Océane
I grew up in a bilingual English/ Mandarin environment. Fascinated by learning foreign languages and cultures, I studied French and English as my major and graduated from Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages in Taiwan.
My first Mandarin course was given in 2008 during my study at the university. I assisted international students who studies in “Chinese Language Centre” at the university with the problems they encountered over Mandarin learning by explaining them from English and Latin language perspective and helped them to adapt to life in Taiwan.
During my exchange as an Eramus in Belgium the next year, I organized a group of four for Mandarin/French language and culture exchange among friends at Université Catholique de Louvain. We even made a small drama synchronously presented in French and Mandarin.
I have been teaching English and French to scholar students for language exam and professional adults since 2009 in Taiwan and also Mandarin Chinese during my stay in the United Kingdom from 2014 to 2016 by applying different materials and themes.

Learning Mandarin Chinese is so much easier than you think! With my experience of multiple language knowledge acquisition, in my course I’ll show you the fundamentals to understand the way Mandarin is formed by explaining it from English or French aspect which will allow you to discover its beauty and culture and to learn quickly once the fundamental idea is established.
I offer personalized courses depend on the level and the need of students, focused on oral speaking through multiple materials and real life conversations with the touch of cultural fact. You will be connected to the real world of Chinese culture and soon be able to express and think in Mandarin under my adaptive teaching.
As a trilingual private tutor, I've been assisting students from with my language competence for 3 years. My mission is to assist students who love to discover the world by learning another language and eventually being able to go further by themselves.
