About MZ
I have over 20 years of combined teaching and training experience across schools, universities and professional training environments. I hold three Master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence, ICT and Business Administration, giving me deep expertise across all the subjects I teach.
I am also a school governor, which means I understand how education systems work and what schools and examiners expect from students at every stage.
As a father of three, I homeschooled two of my children during Covid and prepared them successfully for 11+ grammar school admission tests. I understand what families go through during this process, not just professionally but personally.
I am committed to high standards and genuine progress. Students I work with don't just improve their grades, they build real understanding and lasting confidence in their subjects.

Hello! I offer online one-to-one tutoring for 11+ preparation and GCSE Maths, Physics and Computer Science.
My approach is built on mastery learning. Students don't move on until they've genuinely understood. I observe how each student thinks and adapt my teaching to suit them, which makes sessions especially effective for students with gaps in their foundations or who haven't clicked with classroom teaching.
Sessions run 90 minutes. I set structured practice between sessions and track progress carefully so we always know exactly where to focus next.
Whether you're a student preparing for your GCSEs or a parent researching 11+ support, I offer a free first session so you can see whether my approach is the right fit before committing.
