About Triston
Triston Teague, of Chattanooga, TN, has over ten years of experience on tuba, trombone, and
euphonium. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Music at Lee University, where he
studies under Mr. Donald Strand and Dr. Jesse McConnell on Tuba, Dr. Austin Patty and John Wykoff on Music Theory, and Dr. Cameron Weatherford, Dr. Regulo Stabilito, and Dr. Josh Pace for conducting and rehearsal techniques. Triston serves as the principal tuba
in both the Lee University Wind Ensemble and the Lee Symphony Orchestra. He is also an
active leader on campus, holding the roles of President of the Lee University Chapter of the
National Association for Music Education and Vice President of the Wind Ensemble. Triston was selected as one of eight students to perform in the 2024 Senior Honors Concert. After graduation, he plans to continue his musical education to the doctoral level and share his passion for music with musicians on all levels.
