About Elizabeth
My name is Elizabeth or Mrs. Clark to the student and studying the Associate Degree in Education Support, and give positive feedback to students, have patience, and encourage learning making it fun.
I am from a family of teachers, and enjoy reading, drawing, swimming, and traveling and tutoring. I plan lessons suiting a student's interests and abilities. I have tutored students with cerebral palsy, autism, Attention Deficient Disorder , and oppositional defiant disorder.
I listen, ask students how they want to learn, and what are their goals.
I ask how they learn and does noise affect them and do they want a quiet environment.
I explain I tutor them for an hour and ask them what they find difficult in school. If they require games or resources, I ask them if they have the resources or do they want me to buy them.
I look forward to tutoring a nearby student after school or on a week day at hours that suit them for me to drive to their place with a list of lessons they need revising or areas they need me to tutor in English or numbers they do not understand.

I have a passion for helping students reach their potential
I incorporate their interests with lessons teaching what sentences are both simple and compound. Homophones which are words sounding the same but have different spelling and meanings, forms of writing according to the V9 curriculum science lessons, tutoring essays, introduction body and conclusion, researching examples to add to assignments.
I plan lessons using worksheets on letters, blends, words, meaning and on writing.
