About Brona
I am a Maths and Physics student at the University of Bristol and, having achieved 4 A* at A level and 10 9s at GCSE I am confident I have the academic capability to help you achieve the grades you are aiming for.
As I tutor I have been working with Year 6s on SATs material this term, so I am well practiced at breaking things down in a way which is easy to understand. I also have spent a lot of time coaching sport, and it is this skill of giving students the tools to work out the answer themselves, rather than simply drilling questions, that I think sets my tutoring apart. This approach is particularly effective in the one on one setting.

I focus on working closely to the specifications for your chosen subjects. Lessons will vary depending on the students needs but will normally start with a more broad exploration and explanation of the topic before tackling some questions, building up to target grade difficulty.
I start by working on the most frequent topics on exam questions, followed by those which give access to higher level questions and then finish with the hardest topics. Throughout the lessons there is lots of time to review old topics and review questions and problems that have occurred at school.
