About Ashwini

With ten years of tutoring experience, I bring an engineer's problem-solving instinct and a finance professional's analytical edge to making mathematics genuinely click for students. I hold a bachelor's in engineering and a master's in finance, and have mentored over 40 students across IB, AP, A Level, IGCSE, GCSE, and SAT programmes — five of whom I work with currently.
My approach is structured but never rigid: I identify each student's gaps and strengths, build a personalised study plan around them, and use targeted practice to produce clear, measurable progress. Parents appreciate the regular updates and flexibility I offer — sessions are available online or in person, and I'm happy to provide references from families who can speak to the results we've achieved together.

About the lesson

I'm a maths-and-science enthusiast turned full-time tutor, with nine years of experience and an academic background that shapes everything I do — a bachelor's in engineering and a master's in finance taught me to break big problems into small steps and connect abstract formulas to real-world meaning. That's the approach I bring to every lesson.
So far I've guided more than 40 students through IB, AP, A Levels, IGCSE, GCSE, and SAT programmes. Five are still with me weekly, which keeps me sharp on syllabus changes and exam quirks.

Score improvements don't happen by accident — we plan them. In our first session I'll identify your strengths, flag the gaps, and map out a personal roadmap with mini-goals, timed drills, and plenty of encouragement. Lessons feel like conversations rather than lectures — whiteboard scribbles, real examples, the occasional meme — but everything is built around the targets we set. Between sessions you'll get custom worksheets, past-paper packs, and quick feedback so you always know where you stand.

Parents value the transparency. Students value fewer surprises on exam day. References are available from both if you'd like to hear how it's worked for others.

I teach online via Zoom or Teams, and in-person where commutes allow. I'm GMT-based, available most evenings and weekends, and happy to flex around your schedule. Feel free to reach out — let's make a plan.
