About Albert
Completing a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and Finance at ANU gave me the technical foundation I now apply to software engineering. Truthfully, I often found standard academic paths ignored the practical reality that modern commerce requires Python and Excel fluency. My 4 years working in quant roles at Macquarie taught me that code must be clean, maintainable, and efficient. I bring these high standards to my students who see the writing on the wall regarding industry needs.
Java and JavaScript are my primary tools for teaching structural logic. Mastering Git and API integration allows us to build real systems together. I prioritize data structures to ensure your fundamentals are rock solid. You will be ready for the commercial reality of coding.

Starting with a code audit provides a clear baseline for our work. I examine your current scripts to identify bottlenecks and structural issues. We proceed by breaking down complex concepts into functional, manageable components.
You learn to write clean code while navigating version control and backend logic. My 3 years of teaching help me explain abstract systems in simple terms. It feels like we are pair programming to solve the problem. The focus remains on building your confidence until the logic clicks.
