About Nicholas
I am 32 years old and I live in Sydney Australia. Languages are a source of joy for me. I love to teach because I get to witness people's confidence increase. I believe that language acquisition is essentialin our increasingly globalised society and I believe that learning another language is also beneficial for mental health and wellbeing.

I am a (TESOL) qualified English teacher and have hands on experience teaching English in Israel as well as online. I have tutored both children and adults. I also tought Conversational Spanish and Basic Hebrew in the Wesley Mission 'School for Seniors' and have tutored Spanish privately.
My teaching approach is based on combination of elements from the Science of linguistics as well as my personal experiences in 'Second Language Acquisition'.
This approach involves a lesson structure with the flexibility to accomodate ones current level. I provide an environment in which only gentle correction is made to ensure that the student becomes comfotable with making mistakes and are not overly focused on rigidity. Such approach as per the science of 'Second Language Acquisition' allows for optimised knowledge retention.
