I like a face to face, visual technique and teaching a rigorous understanding of why things work as opposed to just teaching formulaic method, helping students to think their own way around problems. Typically I feel 1 hour lessons are a good length as they don't test the students' attention span. The lessons are for GCSE maths or physics.
