About Sara

I’m currently holding a degree in Biomedical Science at Middlesex University and I’m a Physician associate student at Queen Mary University.
I am DBS cleared and In my spare time, I enjoy tutoring Maths and Science for GCSE, KS3 and KS2 students. I have completed my GCSEs at Sydenham School and I have also completed A2 in Maths, Biology and Chemisrty.

I’ve had the experience for tutoring for more than 5 years and I'm very friendly person with all kids and I do love engaging with children who struggles to achieve their target level in school or in their final GCSE Exams. Being a tutor in past years I believe that it is important to understand the student’s progress and making sure that they are always on track.

Also, being a student, I understand the importance of developing how to learn the material rather than just taking in information and the student should be also be comfortable enough to express their struggling areas that can be improved on. My main target is to let the students to love the subjects rather than disliking due to not understanding the topic at school and encourage them as much as I can for them to believe themselves that they are capable of doing the exam questions in highest grade.

At first, I will discuss with the student to know their areas of weakness and strength so then I will be start providing the material according to that progress then I will slowly start to increase their work to be a bit challenging which I believe most of the questions in exams nowadays are challenging for the students. I will also provide Homework and I will expect for the student to be 100% dedication for completing their homework if they want to aim high.

I would describe myself to be a dedicated, patient and approachable which are essential qualities for tutoring. Also I prefer to teach at my home than travelling since I really find difficulties to travel while doing the university work. However, I enjoy tutoring as I gain a huge amount of satisfaction when the student gains their target level at the end of their year exam or GCSE.
