About Rita
I am a highly experienced educator, well-versed in instructing both teenagers and adults who are eager to learn Portuguese. My proficiency extends to preparing younger students to excel in the Portuguese curriculum, as well as in the international IGCSE and IB systems, consistently achieving excellent outcomes in exam preparation. My approach not only focuses on language acquisition but also delves into Language and Literature.

I have a degree in Portuguese and French language and literature. I have also a Masters in Portuguese literature. More than 20 years’ experience as a teacher both in the Portuguese system and in the IB system, as well as internationally teaching Portuguese for adults in several levels of proficiency. Proofreading, writing and translating are also some of my extra skills. Teaching tailored to students' needs -not only the time (60 to 90 minutes), but also depending on the age and the level: 12 years old + and adults are the main target.
