About Ruwin

Hi, my name is Ruwin Cooray. I graduated from Girraween High School in 2022. I am currently studying for a Bachelor of Clinical Science (medicine)/Doctor of Medicine (MD) at WSU and have a strong passion for mentoring and tutoring high school students. I have over 2 years experience tutoring high school students. Rather than just being concerned with your grades, I hope to have a much larger impact on you as a person by helping you develop a strong work ethic that will serve you well in the future. I look forward to working with you.

About the lesson

I focus on the student's individual needs and cater towards making sure they grasp every single dot point of the syllabus before heading into an exam. My sessions are 1 to 2 hours long including the learning of content and examination of content via practice papers. I also offer help with homework, assignments and other school-related work. I am also available outside my rostered time with the student and am willing to provide last-minute assistance free of charge. Ultimately I want to be a mentor more than just a tutor and someone a student can rely on to be the best version of themselves.
