About Nika
I am a chemical and biological engineering student at UBC, graduating with a BASc in May, 2023. I have over a year of experience working in the sustainable tech industry. I have experience tutoring at high school and undergraduate levels. By developing learning goals, I help students succeed beyond the subject they are struggling with. I am patient, and work through problems with students!

We will first evaluate where you have difficulties with the subject. I will formulate a lesson plan and we will work through problems together. Learning styles are different, so we will work together to figure out what works best for you. In my experience, active learning is key for understanding. I will support you with your goals, and provide study guides, resources and tips for success!
I am a slow learner myself, but I have succeeded as a chemical engineering student at UBC, with awards, publications, and an A-average. I believe that one learning approach does not suit all, and it takes time to develop good study habits. My goal is to help you understand a subject, but also help you succeed in future classes!
