About ALICE
I am currently studying at the UBC Sauder School of Business in Vancouver and have experience working as a university Chinese Teaching Assistant. As a native Mandarin speaker who is also fluent in English, I understand the challenges English-speaking students face when learning Chinese and know how to explain concepts clearly and patiently.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident speaking and making mistakes. Outside of teaching, I’m interested in music, travel, movies, and creative writing, so I love bringing real-life and cultural topics into conversations to make lessons more engaging and practical.
