About Asher
My name is Asher, I am a third year medical student at the University of Manchester. I have had an interest in teaching for many years and I have previously helped many students get into medicine. When I was an applicant myself, I greatly benefitted from the expertise of older students. They helped guide me in my application make sure I was doing all the right things to succeed. Now that I am on the other side of it all, I see it as my duty to give back by lending a hand to the aspiring students of today. I look forward to utilise the skills that I have picked up on my journey and to use them to inspire students looking to get into medicine.

In the first session I gauge which UCAT sections are the students' strengths and which are the weaknesses. I then create an individualised plan tailored to the student to help them focus on the areas in which they need the most support. My goal is to ensure my students perform to the best of their abilities so they can ultimately secure their place in the medical school of their choice. Regarding help with medical school application, I offer a variety of services. I can help write personal statements as well as providing interview practice. I can also help choose medical schools based on the skillset my student has.
