About Timothy
My name is Tim, and I currently study at UCL. I have had a passion for chess from a very young age when I used to play every day with my grandfather. I love spreading my knowledge and love for chess, starting multiple group chats and a YouTube channel to help aspiring players. I look forward to a more personal role in their development, however, by teaching on a one-to-one basis.

After playing a couple of casual games and scenarios, I will identify some key areas of your game that need improvement. I will then explain some simple techniques to work on this and play out specific positions with you to help you practise. I may ask you to play a couple of online games to practise between sessions. I am flexible about the length of the lesson but it must be at least an hour.
