About Bethan

I am a 21 year old student at UCL, studying Chemistry, German and Science Communication. I completed my A Levels in June 2018 (A*A*A) and have since volunteered in my secondary school to help with German speaking practice and exam preparation. I've also been regularly giving private tutoring sessions for German GCSE and A Level for the past 4 years, as well as continuing to study German alongside, having just studied the Goethe German C1.1 syllabus.

About the lesson

Having experienced the exams myself, I know exactly what is required of students to achieve top marks! I focus primarily on vocabulary, grammar, exam technique and speaking practice, but will adapt the sessions to whatever I feel is most needed by the student.

Bethan takes time to understand what the needs and sims are, has an amazing rapport with her students, gives them confidence and knowledge, she prepares, is organised and very reliable with good communication but most of all, she just goes the extra mile with great results. My two boys were tutored by Bethan, one for GCSE chemistry and one for A’level and we will always be grateful to her for what they learnt and how they learnt. She can cover all topics to an excellent level, knows how to bring this subject to life, and basically made a real difference!
