About Sarah

One thing you should know about me is I am good under pressure. I have worked in high-stress environments and with children since I was very young. I am comfortable with speaking only Spanish if needed as well, I love to teach and am excited to work with my community!

About the lesson

I'm looking for a job that can teach me about how different learners work and how I can be the best possible support for them. I am dedicated to bilingual education and equity in access to education.
I started tutoring when I was in college, as an AP Spanish prep tutor. I have 5 siblings all of which I helped with schoolwork since I was
10. I then worked as an after school assistant and translator in Goleta. My skills include writing, reading and language acquisition. I was a Bilingual Instructional aid and am currently a substitute teacher so l am comfortable with phonics and intensive reading.
