About Tay
I am an undergrad marketing student at UCT and run my own production company. I completed my A levels a few years ago while tutoring in maths, physics and biology.
As a kid I always wanted to be a teacher but as I grew up I became passionate about filmmaking and business. Along the way I started tutoring and found it a very full circle moment when I got to teach and follow my passion.
Over the last two years I've really enjoyed having my afternoons being filled with tutoring as I get to connect with students and help them through their studies. Believe it or not, I also really enjoy the time I spend lesson planning and notes prepping.
Throughout high school, I actually struggled a bit with maths and physics but worked super hard and they ended up some of my highest marks so I know what it's like to find work tough but I also know what it takes to improve and achieve the mark you want.

Lessons are uniquely planned per student around current position in the subject with specific goals set together.
In the lesson theory content is taught followed by some practice questions. Homework is set which consists of exam style questions and past papers.
As a teacher I have a deep understanding of the way that the exams work which I focus on working through together to prep student for their exams. Lessons are taught in English.
Lessons are set across various high school levels. Cambridge syllabus tutoring offered.
