I was looking for a teacher I would feel comfortable authentically singing and learning with. I found that in Marie. Marie has been my vocal coach since mid-2022. She has taught me quite a bit about my voice, music, and sound. She is patient and encourages me to push my limits. She makes learning music fun and empowering.

I have been going to classes with Marie for close to a year now. She is an amazing teacher! I’ve heard very visible improvements in my singing. As homework, I do vocal exercises that Marie has taught me, and they are incredibly helpful in warming up my voice. Marie is able to adapt to her student’s specific needs and abilities. I really love that she gives you the option to steer the lesson where you want it that day (i.e.,) doing vocal warm ups, singing songs, or both. Marie has been very kind and I have learned a lot from her.

Marie is a talented singer. She approaches the lessons with a professional attitude--providing constructive feedback when needed. She is very flexible with exploring different vocal styles and is very enthusiastic when it comes to talking about voice and vocal technique.

I have been taking lessons with Marie for a few months now and she has been an excellent tutor! I feel I have made significant progress in my musical knowledge and technique.

Her teaching style is more of a facilitator role than a lecturer. While this leads to lack of clarity sometimes, she is always open for questions in and out of sessions.

Marie is extremely knowledgeable of vocal technique and health. She diligently works to improve the sound of your clients through exercises and lessons. Not to mention she’s just a very sweet person :)

Marie makes complex concepts easy to understand and is very easy to talk to. I haven't touched the piano in a long time, and I found myself more interested in the piano after doing lessons with her. So, it was worth it; I'd recommend her to anyone interested!
