Lloyd is a brilliant teacher. He’s really good at finding your level and pace and he’s just full of music and a brings his bubbly fun personality making it a pleasure to learn.

Lloyd is a fantastic musician and is very talented. His knowledge of playing different musical instruments is outstanding. Lloyd has helped me understand beat, strumming, rhythm and playing music in a great fun way giving me confidence to enjoy and have a go.

I already played ukulele for a few years before I met Lloyd, but he has taken my playing to a new level. I've come a long way from playing simple strumming patterns and covers of songs I like to complex strumming and picking patterns. Most importantly, I'm a lot more confident than I used to be, and I had more fun than I've ever had along the way. Three years ago, the ukulele looked more like a cheese board with strings. Music theory? Sounded contagious. But Lloyd appeared patient, twinkly-eyed, and strangely unfazed by two rhythm renegades.
He’s weathered our rogue G chords, dramatic pauses, and regular pleas of, “Do we have to play B♭?” With humour and heroic calm, he guided us from chaos to something resembling music.
Lloyd’s teaching superpower? Turning musical mayhem into modest melody with an arched brow and a well-timed chuckle.
Thanks to him, we strum with confidence, flair, and only mild panic when B♭ rears its head.
