About Ava
I'm a confident but mild-mannered 21-year-old with a passion for anything in the science or math realm and love teaching subjects to just about anyone who'll listen (my family is getting sick of me haha)! I have siblings and pets (3 cute little rats actually!) and am pursuing my interest in science in an undergraduate degree in psychology and neuroscience. I previously founded a tutoring program with my friends in high school and have always loved teaching in general, I even wanted to become a teacher when I was younger! I'm just about the least intimidating person you'll meet and I'm really just a goofy kid at heart :)

I love a quick catch-up and some motivating humor throughout a session to keep the brain active! I have lots of tips and tricks for how to get your brain to work with you instead of against you. I'd love to chat about school, hobbies, or family, and then get right into jamming on some of that math and science work if you think we'd be a good fit. I'm also a pretty good writer if I do say so myself, so I'm confident tutoring anything up to and including grade 12 English :)
