I was a Kumon tutor from Year 11 to 13. In these 2 years, I was able to enhance my lesson planning skills to ensure my students were learning exactly what's in their curriculum. I customised my lessons based on each student’s learning style, interests, and goals. Not every student has the same learning style, and I encouraged both students and parents to share their concerns and learning preferences, so I was more aware on how to plan their lessons. I tutored students from ages 4 to GCSE level in science, maths, English.
I plan to assess and adapt my teaching based on ongoing student feedback and progress, ensuring they feel supported throughout their learning journey. I am offering a free or discounted trial session. This allows potential students to experience my teaching style firsthand and see the benefits of my personalised approach.
