About Maya
I am currently an undergraduate student studying biomedical sciences at the University of Edinburgh. I received an A* in IGCSE Mathematics, Additional mathematics and Biology. In A-levels I received an A* in Mathematics and Biology. I am committed and thorough, willing to put in the effort to give you the understanding and preparation you require.

I am open to teaching students in years 5-9 at any level but work best with students who require extra help and guidance. I believe in short lessons to maintain focus and yield better results (between 1 and 2 hours). I have unpaid experience teaching younger students and students my own age in school. I will cater methods around students' needs but initially believe in structure of theoretical explanation followed by questions with explanations, then practical approach (attempting to solve question alone) and finally going through questions to strengthen understanding.
