About Max
I am an undergraduate student from Boise, Idaho, currently in the process of receiving my Bachelor's degree in general business at the University of Alabama. I have had three years of prior experience with tutoring, working with mainly elementary and middle school students, but I have also worked with high school and college students. The main subjects I tend to work with are Math, Science, and History, but I am more than happy to work with other subjects as well!

My goal is to help students thoroughly understand the material, but also allow them to enjoy the material as well. In my personal experience, nothing is worse than a bad teacher/professor, so I aim to make sure students are not bored during lecture/tutoring sessions. The way I do this is to use real-world examples and examples that the student is interested in. I try to make sure that students understand that they are learning math for a reason and that it will be helpful to them in the future. I realize that many students believe that math is useless and not necessary, so I aim to help them change this belief.
