About Mackenzi
English has always been my subject of choice. From spelling bees, to Haikus, to building an argumentative piece, to writing a whole creative writing portfolio... I am interested. I spent a lot of time in high school interviewing various people for the school newspaper. When testing to graduate, I received the highest scoring on both the essay portion and the multiple-choice English portion. Since then, I've helped several people put together their resumes and receive job offers soon after. I have excelled in all writing projects assigned for various literary elements.

Examples of some topics I offer lessons on include: phonetics, spelling, resume prep, GED prep, invention writing, proofreading, rhetoric writing, creative writing. Personally, I think my attitude and perspective on some knowledge retention is what sets me aside from other tutors. I would describe my teaching method as learner-paced, low pressure, and consistent. Whatever the concept may be, I'm willing to go through as many times as it takes at the speed you need. I am able to adapt to your way of learning as well. If you prefer voice lessons, PowerPoints, or just diving into trial and error... We can do it.

I think MacKenzi is a trustworthy teacher because she does everything with her all. She's a very patient person who has helped me with several things even if it meant she had to rephrase her words to help me comprehend and understand.
