About Sarita
I am an enthusiastic and focused undergraduate student at Denison University (‘26). I believe that contribution is key to the betterment of our civilization, therefore I must serve my community. We all have been given certain qualities and skills to be able to help our neighbors and, in that way, advocate for a more positive environment for everyone to feel free to contribute. I always try to make my skills obtainable for anyone who may need them. Currently, as a Biology and Chemistry Tutor, I get to assist my peers with their learning process in a way that best works for them so they can better understand their assignments. In addition, I work in the Spanish section of the Modern Languages Department where I use my bilingual skills to help Spanish Language Learners improve their vocabulary and pronunciation.
I aim to continue making use of the leadership skills I learned throughout high school and am currently learning at Denison University. My goal is to continue being a service-minded leader in any organization I am able to be part of. I am fully committed to continuing to challenge myself, both professionally and personally, once employed. Growing in new ways through service and leadership is one of the aspects of a job that I most look forward to.

With personalized one-on-one online meetings (Zoom or Meet) the tutee and I will work together for about one hour. During this time any specific questions can be answered or certain general concepts can be reviewed. The direction taken will be in accordance with the tutee's needs. Native Spanish is very hard to understand and I am here to make sure that everyone gets a chance to learn it. The lessons will depend on the learning strategy that the student prefers.
