About Hartwell
The most important part of learning is interest in a subject. As an educator my job is not to just tell you the steps you should memorize to answer a question. My job is to show you why and how these concepts are useful. If a student can get help knowing how the things they are “memorizing” fit into a larger picture then they are truly learning.

In high school my favorite thing in the world was helping out my peers when they needed it. 9 out of 10 times if someone is struggling with a concept the best way to help is to break it down and explain with different words. Math is really simple if you take it step by step and make sure you avoid getting overwhelmed. I am here to help you develop those learning skills that will benefit you even beyond math.
