Hi! I’m a Chemical Biology and Mathematics double major at Case Western Reserve University, and I specialize in tutoring math for middle and early high school students. Typical lesson plan: Quick Warm-up (5–10 min) – Review key ideas from last session with a few short problems. Core Concept (20–25 min) – Teach or review the day’s topic (e.g., graphing cube root functions, solving equations), using examples and visual aids. Guided Practice (15–20 min) – Work through practice problems together, increasing difficulty as confidence grows. Wrap-up & Questions (5–10 min) – Summarize key takeaways and assign optional practice problems or study tips. What sets me apart: I’m a college student who recently mastered the same content, so I can explain it in a relatable, student-friendly way. I specialize in visual learning and function analysis, which are core parts of Algebra 1 and often the most challenging.
