About Alicja
I’m currently an undergraduate student at Imperial College London studying BSc Physics with Theoretical Physics.
I achieved grades (concealed information) at GCSE including 9 in Maths and Physics.
At A-level I got A*A*A*A with the A*’s in Maths, Further Maths and Physics. The A was achieved in Chemistry.
During school I also took part in the UKMT Intermediate and Senior maths challenges, where I achieved a Gold, qualifying me for the Senior Kangaroo (top 6000 students in UK and China)

I believe that every student should enjoy learning! That’s why I like to approach my sessions in a friendly and smooth way. Firstly I would want to get to know the student and see what their strengths and weaknesses are.
Whether you’re a beginner, or an expert at the subject, I can suit my learning to all difficulty levels.
For students who don’t feel so confident in the subject, I would teach them content and make sure they understanding by making the session as interactive as possible by asking questions and setting mini quizzes as well as homework which I would mark outside of the tutor hours free of charge.
For those who feel comfortable, I would love to develop their skill beyond GCSE, by introducing them to UKMT senior maths challenges as well as Physics Olympiad questions, further reading and extra maths and/or physics tricks and facts! These are important as it gives students an advantage when applying to competitive universities such as Oxbridge/Cambridge/Imperial/UCL/LSE/Warwick etc.
