About

I love working with people and I hope to share my enthusiasm for mathematics. My favorite part about tutoring math is seeing the lightbulb turn on in my students when they feel confident that they understand the concept. In my free time I like to engage in creative activities such as playing guitar, crocheting, painting, and editing music. I consider myself a huge nerd and I could have an endless conversation about Star Wars or Marvel. I'm also a big fan of birds. However, when I'm not bird watching, I am someone who is reliable and ready to help tackle any math issue my student may face.

About the lesson

I use Socratic and direct teaching methods to ensure that students are comprehending the material. Sessions consist of going over homework material, class material, or lesson created by me.
Before we start, what is challenging, what we're comfortable with, and finally what we want to achieve.
As someone who has worked with a wide age range and math disciplines, I can provide tailored attention to my students. My experience tutoring in many different settings with many different students has equipped me with the skills I need to promote the student's success.
My lessons are for Elementary and Early math, Middle school math, Algebra, and Calculus.
