About Mirkomil

Mirkomil is an enthusiastic undergraduate student studying Mathematics with a deep passion for the subject. Alongside my academic pursuits, I have experience working as a tutor and have previously worked in summer camps, where I honed my skills in engaging and supporting young learners. My commitment to helping students understand and appreciate math is matched by my love for working with kids and watching them grow. Additionally, I am an athlete, which reflects my dedication, discipline, and teamwork skills. This combination of academic passion, tutoring experience, and athleticism makes me a well-rounded and effective tutor who strives to make learning both fun and impactful.

About the lesson

Before the start of the session, request the student to provide the following information:
Current Math Level: Which course or grade they are in.
Specific Topics: Any particular topics or areas they are struggling with or need help in.
Materials Used: Textbooks, worksheets, or online resources they are using.
Previous Assessments: Any recent quizzes, tests, or homework that can help you understand their current standing.
So I get an idea on the topic and prep any questions for the students.
I will be focused on Student-Centered Approach & Conceptual Understanding.

Student-Centered Approach: Focus on understanding each student's individual learning style and needs.
Conceptual Understanding: Emphasize understanding the 'why' behind mathematical concepts, not just memorization.

Some of the techniques I will be using are:
Step-by-Step Explanations: Break down complex problems into smaller, manageable steps.
Practice Problems: Use a variety of practice problems to reinforce concepts.

I plan to help to help out middle school students to all the way to high school students.
