My teaching method is that every student should understand a concept before moving on. It is so crucial to understand the basic concepts first before progressing- you cannot run before walking. Therefore, before I begin a new topic with any class I will ask questions about it to students, as some will know about it. But nobody in the class will know everything about it, and it is important that students realize they are in my lesson to learn and improve their skills.
