About Mattea
I am in college to earn a bachelor degree in Biology and plan to continue my education in my masters program in Genetics. I hope to one day work in research on chromosomal abnormalities. I’m very passionate about science and I love finding ways to make it more appealing to those who struggle with it.

I work well with teens and young adults struggling with concepts in math and science. I personalize concepts to help individual students understand by correlating things they already know. I am a visual learner myself so I like to write things out and explain them, allowing questions at any time to clear any confusion.
